Tillandsia Pruinosa is a widely distributed species native from Florida to Southern Mexico, Central and South America, in addition to several Caribbean Islands. Our plants have a small bulbous base, nice curling leaf arms, and a thick coating of trichomes. In fact, the word "Pruinosa" comes from Latin, meaning "frosty," which comes to describe its white appearance due to all the water- and nutrient-absorbing trichomes that cover the plant's surface. They are generally smaller and compact plants.
