Every plant parents knows how annoying fungus gnats can be. Luckily, we have an easy solution for you keep your soil fungus gnat free!
These Fungus Gnat Pellets contain concentrated BTI, a natural occurring soil bacteria, which eliminates fungus gnat larvae living in the soil. It may take up to three or four weeks to completely eliminate the problem, but with consistent use, this treatment will solve all your fungus gnat problems. For even faster results, pair with plant sticky traps to minimize the adult population and prevent the life cycle from continuing.
Each packet contains five doses, enough to treat your plants for up to 2.5 months.
Directions: Add 1/5th of the packet per one gallon of water, allowing the pellets to soak for 30 minutes minimum before application. Mix the pellet solution in with regular water at a 1:5 ratio and water your plants as normal. Top up the solution with fresh water as needed to extend its use. The solution can be stored for up to two weeks before the bacteria becomes ineffective. Refresh with new pellets every two weeks.
BTI is nontoxic to humans, pets, and pollinators, but it may cause irritation for people with skin sensitivities. Avoid inhaling dust from the pellets and wash your hands after application if the pellets or solution comes in contact with your skin.
